Our staff At CenterPoint, we're all about building and strengthening individuals as well as families, equipping them to lead by serving. Whether it's your first time here or you've been coming for awhile, we welcome you to take a moment to get to know our leadership team a little bit better.

Pat Dezort     pastorpat@centerpointfamily.org Pat Dezort has been senior pastor at Centerpoint Church in Benton, AR since 1997. He sensed a call to ministry after attending Oklahoma State University and when he was working in the oil industry for Conoco. This has been a real factor in his messages, where he delivers the Word in a way that is easy to understand and that is relevant to everyday life. Prior to ministry, he attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK, was also a youth minister, and an associate minister at Church of the Harvest in Oklahoma City, OK. His time in the oil-fields of New Mexico, and years in the ministry have produced a true people's pastor. Pastor Pat and Kathi have four children: Zach, Jessica, Alyssa, and Timmy. Kathi Dezort     pastorkathi@centerpointfamily.org Kathi Dezort has been singing since the age of four years old. She sensed God calling her to full-time ministry while attending Oral Roberts University, where she graduated with a major in Communications, and a minor in Music. Kathi also attended Rhema Bible Training Center with her husband Pat. Kathi's love of Praise and Worship is evident through her energetic and passionate leadership style. In addition to Ministering in Music, Kathi is also devoted to ministering to women. In 2004 she launched Lifepoint for Women, which is designed to help women grow spiritually, and live a victorious Christian life. Kevin And Jessica Spencer     pk@centerpointfamily.org Kevin and Jessica were both raised in, fell in love at, and married at CenterPoint Church, so they are a perfect fit as they minister to the youth of the church. Kevin and Jessica are not only involved in the Youth Ministry, they are both vital members of the CenterPoint Band and Praise team. Robert and Paige James Robert and Paige James started Jr High Youth in 2005 and it has been one of the largest groups in CenterPoint. Between straight forward teaching and goofy fun, Jr High is the place to be. Larry and Mary Sims     larry_mary@centerpointfamily.org Children's church is not just a place for kids to come and be preached at: we want the kids to have 'WOW' moments every time they come to church. Pastors Larry and Mary Sims have made a wonderful team of leaders and an exciting and safe place for children to come and enjoy building relationships as they play in our game areas and as we worship God together. In our services, we have a very exciting time of Praise and Worship, ice-breaker games, and a visual message from God's Word. It's not church as usual. We provide ministry to grades 2nd through 5th in Kids on Track and ages 5 to 7 yrs in Kids on Track, Jr. Vicki Hopkins     vicki@centerpointfamily.org Vicki was born and raised in the Bauxite/Benton area and has been employed as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Pat since 1998. She also serves in various areas of ministry, such as LifePoint for Women and sings on the Praise Team. Vicki and her husband, Danny, also serve as leaders of a Small Group. Danny and Vicki have been married for 20 years; have five children and five grandchildren. Terri Mitchell     terri@centerpointfamily.org Not only is Terri on the church staff, she is also involved in the Women's Ministry and sings on the church Praise Team. She, her husband Keith, and their two beautiful girls moved to the Bryant area in December 1998, and they have been a part of the Centerpoint family since October of 1999. Keith Mitchell     keith@centerpointfamily.org Keith Mitchell has a great servant's heart to serve the Pastor and the CenterPoint Church Family. He is actively involved in our helps ministry by serving as our Head Usher and overseeing the Junior Usher Ministry. He strives to be a leader who accomplishes everything in excellence as unto the Lord. Keith has been married to his wife Terri for 25 years and has two daughters. Mandy Deitering     mandy@centerpointfamily.org Mandy Deitering has been an employee at CenterPoint Church for over 12 years. She is the Media Director, Children's Pastor at our Conway Campus and oversees the nursery and pre-k areas at CPC:Benton. back to top...
